DataBurning is a comprehensive application for burning data discs, which includes a full set of tools to help you create and manage your ISO files. It supports all types of recordable CDs and DVDs, including double-layer DVDs. If you wish to enhance the functionality of this free program, you are offered a number of plug-ins that will let you burn audio CDs and video DVDs as well.
This efficient tool can either burn discs on the fly or build images that you can store in your system and burn later, either by using DataBurning or by creating a batch file (.BAT) that you can execute at any time. You can save your image files either as ISO or UDF ISO, or burn them directly onto the media of your choice.
Though the program was initially designed for data-only discs, you can download and install a few plug-ins that largely enhance its functionality. The AudioBurning plug-in will allow you to burn audio discs (in DAO mode) with full CD-Text support. Besides, this add-on is capable of decoding MP3, WMA, WMV, ASF, WAV, and OGG files on the fly and creating your audio CD in just one single operation. The VideoBurning plug-in adds support not only for standard video DVDs, but also for VCD and SVCD.
But probably one of the most interesting features of this software tool is its “convert to ISO” functionality, which offers you the possibility of converting both Nero (NRG) and BIN image files into the ISO standard. |
